Kay Sasser Jacoby, a native Alabamian, was born and raised in Ozark, graduated from the University of Alabama with art and advertising degrees, and has always been involved in art and community organizations. She spent most of her adult life in Birmingham until she and her husband, Ray, moved to Montgomery in 2006. She worked to transform the
Museum Store at the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts into a gallery-type atmosphere and has been a successful visual artist throughout the years, as well. She now has the opportunity to culminate her passion for the arts and her love of people as she embarks on her new position (as of April 1) as the Council's Community Arts Program Manager.
Deb Boykin, the former Community Arts Program Manager has return to her position as a Folklife Program Manager and producer of Alabama Arts Radio series after the retirement of Steve Grauberger.
