Arts Over America and Arts
Over Alabama are a joint partnership that includes state
arts agencies, The National Assembly of State Arts
Agencies, ArtsWire and Carnegie Melon University. Alabama
will be one of the first states with access to the
interactive cultural events calendar.
Arts Over America enables local residents, visitors and
business travelers to search a particular state or region
of a state to obtain a listing of cultural offerings. The
data can be easily searched in a number of ways including
by dates, types of events, types of art forms as well as
titles of works or artists.
